Egg-centric Easter Centerpiece
Use beautifully decorated Easter eggs for a one-of-a-kind centerpiece. Just fill a clear glass cake stand and trifle bowls (or other glass vessels you have on hand) with dyed eggs, greenery and spring blooms for a fresh display. A sheet moss table runner (available at most craft stores) and small twigs and sprigs from your yard (de-bugged, of course) complete the natural look. To decorate your eggs with botanicals, as we did here, use our printed eggs idea from our Easter egg round-up. And for another fun centerpiece, check out our spring gingerbread birdhouse—a sweet (literally!) activity for you and your kids.
Mini Easter Baskets
Let the bounties of Easter abound with these cute little DIY Easter baskets. We have 6 pretty baskets for you to personalize and fill with Easter treats, decorated Easter eggs or little party favors. Just print them out on card stock, fold and cut along the lines, put them together and accessorize with the included decorations or other additions of your choice. Then fill them up and pass them out to guests.
Bunny Place Cards
For this quick and easy project, print out our bunny place cards onto white card stock. (If you want the inside of the bunny to be the same color as the outside of the bunny, use the template on the last page and print it on colored card stock.) Then cut out the bunnies, fold along the dotted lines, and write your guests’ names. When they’re all done, cut the ear slits to slide them together, or simply place a piece of double stick tape between the ears so they’ll stand sweetly on your table.
TIP: Here’s another fun idea for the kids: let them decorate blank white bunnies with stickers, markers, watercolor paints, crayon resist—really the sky’s the limit!
