This vertical garden how-to will have you itching for spring. (We mean with excitement. No need for bug spray.) It’s a perfect project for anyone with a modest outdoor space or the urge to decorate with useful, living things.

You’ll need a few feet of wall or fence space, a sewing machine, some grommets and an old burlap bag.
