8 winter-white desserts

Winter demands comfort food…but “comfort” isn’t always all about hearty, savory, labor-intensive dishes. Sometimes it’s a warm drink on a cold afternoon (with maybe just a touch of brandy in it). Sometimes it’s a tray of delicate delectables, shared with a few good friends. And sometimes it’s more simple than even that—as simple as a color that reminds you of something you love, like a dusting of powered sugar that suggests a beautiful white blanket of snow.
With the goal of brushing back the winter blues in mind, we challenged ourselves to reinvent “winter comfort food”…and the resulting recipes were both delightful and delicious. So curl up, cover up and get comfortable as we walk you through our (edible) winter wonderland of 8 snowy-white desserts.
