Hanukkah sugar cookies

Ingredients

8 oz. softened cream cheese
¾ cup softened butter
⅓ cup sugar
¼ tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour mixed with ¼ tsp. salt

Directions

  1. Beat together cream cheese, butter, sugar, and vanilla with electric mixer. Add the flour and salt mixture and blend well.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for an hour.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface, cut into shapes, and place on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 13 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  5. Decorate with icing and sprinkles.
