DIY Valentine Wreath: “She-loves-me-knot” heart wreath

“She loves me knot” heart wreath

Crafter level: Easy

Time needed: 3 to 4 hours

About 40 yards of ribbon scraps, a heart-shaped wire wreath form and a free afternoon are all you need to create this easy and sweet front door decoration. We used about 18 different types of ribbon to make ours—wire-edged, ruffled, ruched—whatever we had on hand in seasonal colors. Simply knot the scraps of ribbon (6 to 9 inches long) to the wreath form until it’s as full as you want it.

Tip: If you don’t have a lot of ribbon scraps, supplement with tulle. It really fills up space. Also, wide ribbon fills up more space than narrow ribbon. And to keep your wreath form from showing through the ribbons, spray paint it white or pink before you begin tying them on.
