For each giant flower, layer 8 sheets of tissue paper together, and accordion fold the layers. (We made our folds about 2 inches deep.)
Using the illustrations provided, cut both ends of the folded paper layers in a scalloped or pointy-petal shape and cut a notch out of both sides of the center (not too big, or it might tear through).
With a piece of string, chenille stem or florist wire, tie the center of the layers together at the notch.
Gently fan out the layers, one at a time, to create a full flower. Make as many flowers as you need to create your #15 (we made 18 flowers total) or a monogram for your guest of honor.
Tape flowers directly to your wall. Tip: Test out your tape ahead of time to make sure it doesn’t damage your walls.
