Cornflake Christmas wreaths

This retro cornflake Christmas wreath recipe is making a comeback—and it's an easy for kids to make! Combine butter, marshmallows, cornflakes and a little green food coloring and then shape the batter into Christmas wreaths. Place little cinnamon candies on top to complete the look.

Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 10-oz. bag mini marshmallows
5½ cups cornflakes cereal
1 tsp. green food coloring
Mini cinnamon candies for decorating

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add mini marshmallows and food coloring. Stir until completely blended.
  2. Remove from heat and add to cornflakes, stirring until the marshmallow mixture is completely blended.
  3. With buttered hands, shape spoonfuls of the cornflake mixture into wreath shapes on a parchment-covered cookie sheet. Add cinnamon candies.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until cookies harden.
