5 bridal shower favors your guests will love
A bridal shower is the bride’s chance to shower guests and bridesmaids with treats and sweets to thank them for their time, effort and good wishes. It shouldn’t be stressful—it should be fun for all. Knowing that, we’ve gathered a few pretty little things to help you show affection for friends and family on the big day before the big day!

Treat bags
To make the treat bags, simply layer 4 pieces of tissue paper together and cut circles (or heart shapes). Stamp your initials on the top layer and write a “thanks for coming” message on the back layer. Sew the four layers together on the sewing machine using a long running stitch. Continue until you have about a 2-inch opening remaining. While it’s still on the sewing machine, carefully stuff some small candies (we used jelly beans) and one of our printable notes, or your own message, between the two center layers. Then stitch the opening closed.
Good clean fun soaps
Aromatic soaps are always welcome and addictively easy to make. With just a few supplies from your local craft store and our free printable tags, you’re on your way to some fun soapmaking. Learn how to make these soap favors.
Tote bags
To make these cute take-aways (literally!), you need purchased tote bags, craft paints and freezer paper. Cut a heart-shaped opening from a piece of freezer paper to make a stencil. Iron the waxy side of the freezer paper stencil to the front of the tote bag where you want your heart to be. Paint the heart-shaped opening with a light layer of craft paint and let dry. Repeat with a second layer of paint if desired. Then gently pull off the freezer paper.
You can add more personalization to the bag by adding their initials or name to the heart using a paint pen—but make sure your painted heart is completely dry first. You can also add a cute ribbon to the bag as a handle. To do this, cut the original handles off very close to the seams and attach wide ribbon in their place.
Succulent settings
For pretty party favors that double as a table centerpiece, pot succulents in a variety of glass jars painted in the bride’s color scheme. Then add some festive name tags. Each guest can take a succulent place setting home when the shower is over, and it’s one less thing for the hostess to clean up!
Mint to be
Print these cute mint labels, wrap them around rolls of mints (or boxes) and secure with double-stick tape. They’re super-quick gifts that are sweet “mementos” of the day.
