Vodka eyeball highball cocktail with a green

This vodka eyeball highball is the drink that watches your every move. The squishy garnish is made with gelatin dissolved in hot water and mixed with sweetened condensed milk, vodka and food coloring. For hosts who take grossing out their guests seriously, this eye-opening Halloween cocktail deserves a place at the table.

Ingredients

½ cup hot water
2 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin
1 drop food coloring for eye color (we used blue)
Large, round ice molds
1, 14 oz.-can condensed milk
2 cups vodka

Directions

  1. Dissolve the gelatin in the hot water. Set aside 1 tablespoon of this mixture to mix with one drop of food coloring.
  2. Drop a bit of this dyed gelatin mixture into the bottom of each large, round ice mold, and then let chill for at least 20 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, mix the condensed milk with the remaining gelatin and the vodka.
  4. Pour over the set gelatin “pupils” and chill until firm.
